My Story
Hello! I'm Alison Brill (she/her), Certified Health Coach, MPH, BSW who helps women and LGBTQ+ folks struggling with digestive issues like gas, bloating, fatigue, and food sensitivities. I help my clients find relief, have more energy, and enjoy food again so they can get back to living their best lives. I provide a holistic approach to well-being, and a path to physical comfort, balance, and healing. My work is rooted in health equity, trauma-informed, and inclusive of all bodies. I have over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of public health, mental wellness, and health equity, and I'm passionate about improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
For me, this work is personal. I struggled with IBS and mysterious food sensitivities for nearly a decade before finding a path to healing my digestion, and with it, my overall health. With the help of a health coach and nutritionist, I was able to figure out which foods are nourishing for me, and how interconnected stress, sleep, and movement are to my digestion. Equally important are supportive relationships and community, and doing work I love. I've been there and I get it - digestive issues are not pretty. And that's why I'm so passionate about this work, and feel honored to support people on their wellness journeys. I'm so grateful to be more in tune with my body's needs and rhythms, and on an enlightening and empowering path to health and wholeness. I would love to help you do the same.
Outside of health coaching, I'm a socially conscious DJ, and organize an online dance party to build community and uplift through the power of dance and music. I also find great joy in drumming, peace and grounding in being in the woods, surrounded by nature's wisdom, and releasing my creative energy and connecting with food by cooking nourishing meals and baking tasty treats. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
My sidekick and co-worker, Lucy.
